cleaning track jackets

i have a vintage adidas track jacket that needs cleaning. thing is the tag is unreadable. anyone know if they can be machine washed? looks to be 100% poly, so i assume it can, but i wanna be sure.

I have a fair number of Adidas track jackets from the Seventies, and have found that handwashing with a mild detergent and flat dry is the best way to go. You can also cold machine wash, but risk snags.

Dry cleaning, for some polyester blends, can actually shrink the fabric, especially the arm length (not sure why, but this has definitely happend to me.)
