looking for a small bag - not messenger - pouch ok?

Guys, I need your help: I´m looking for a small bag. I just need something for my pda, phone, keys and wallet. I already used the search function, but only found messenger-style bags. I already have that one. Just looking for something smaller for the evening. So I came across the pouch-held-in-the-hand-style (like the LV Pochette Kaluga). I remember my grandpa carrying one like 20 years ago. Now what do you think? Still a go or no-go? Or any other ideas?

Know what you're saying. I fancied the surfside messenger bags for years but now I've got one I've reverted to using a totally de-branded plain black Crumpler I bought in Australia in '98. Too many people rocking them. Even the brothers themselves recommending you save your money and make your own bag! Still, I've a lot of time for Freitag, though sadly more on the strength of their humour and recycled stance than their designs I have to admit.

That said, their newer, more sophisticated and less obviousy branded 'Mancipation' men's line sounds just what you're looking for.
