but i figured i'd try to start a discussion on the next tour of france.

I'm not a Lance fan but it will be good to see him race in the tour again. It will be interesting to see if he concedes to Contador and vice versa.

I want to know where I can bet on it from the US, and I'm excited that two stages are radio-free, one being Bastille day... so a Frenchman may actually win a stage!

I don't care who wins... as long as it's not that one guy...

I was extremely optimistic for Boonen, though it was a longshot in April, let lone a week prior.

Oh well. France's governing TDF kept out many drug-linked Euros this year and thus allowed in a bunch of Americans by somewhat default. Kind of ironic, but I'd be much happier to see exciting racers than just guys I share birth-borders with.
