any way to stretch out a cap thats a bit tight?

they make special stretcher things that are supposed to do that, but why not just wear it around the house a couple hours everyday

anyways, when my lids get too tight, i throw it on my knee and pull as hard as i can. new era's are pretty tough. they can take it.

if you look at the new era site, they tell you to do exactly that. put it on your knee with the brim facing away from you and pull until you hear 3 or 4 pops. they have sizing rings inside the headband so by breaking those they hat will be a bit bigger.

If you try the stretching on your knee thing .. lemme know how it works for you.

I tried this with a few of my caps, and although it did stretch them out a little bit, it still fit too tight for me to wear around. I had a few older size 7 caps that don't fit me anymore now that I take a size 7 1/8

In my experience they only get smaller and smaller. Especially if you sweat in them at all. One of mine I ripped out some of the foam around the inside so it could fit again, but it just shrunk even smaller than that.

Try wetting the headband and then wearing it. That usually works for me when I need to stretch out a fitted.
