i got a ipod touch (1st gen) 16gb with applecare (transferrable, but expires this NOV). i loaded it with a jailbroken 2.20 firmware, but you can easily revert it back with itunes. ive been using it with screen protector+silcone, so no scratches.

also got another 1st gen ipod touch without applecare.. in lesser condition.
