FS: Julian Red RAN Coat

This is a really great coat from the Julian Red's F/W 2007 collection. It is made out of heavy Japanese cotton oxford cloth and has really great tailoring to give it a very unique fit. For some of the garments in this season, Julian Red introduced what they called the "rhombus idea" to their fits. This entailed sewing rhombi into the seams to create a 3D fit. The rhombi help the arms and sides practically suspend where they are, instead of falling flat. This can be seen in some of the photos below.

It has 6 brushed silver buttons, with three of them being grouped close together at the top and three being spaced out more at the bottom.

The jacket is fitted in the shoulders and chest and then kind of cocoons out in the back. It is kinda of difficult to explain and sounds strange, but ends up creating a really unique, flattering shape. I would say the length of this jacket and the shape would work best on a fairly tall slim person.

The fabric is quite heavy and it is fully lined, but it works best as a spring/fall coat.

I purchased it from the Julian Red store in Stockholm for around $575USD and I am looking for $200 shipped within NA (if you are outside of NA please contact me for a shipping quote). Paypal only.

It is tagged size 48 and has been worn, but is in very good used condition.

Pictures are from Blackbird, but are way better than I could ever hope to take. One is from the JR lookbook, one is from TBS and one is an old fit pic of me wearing it.

measurements:

pit to pit- 19.8"

shoulder seam to shoulder seam- 17.5"

length down back from base of collar to bottom hem- 41"
