Photography classes in NYC?

I'm looking to take a beginners photography class this summer in NYC. can anyone recommend a good school and/or course that doesn't cost a fortune?

i was thinking SVA or FIT, if anyone has some solid input i'd definitely appreciate it.

Not sure how the price compares to classes at SVA/FIT, but I had a friend who took classes at the International Center of Photography. Not sure how the quality is either compared to those other schools, but the actual space is really nice hah.

All below ground and stuff except for the greenhouse-ish entrance. Really cool.

I took beginner classes at ICP, I personally thought it was very good, having had no experience in photography at all. Everything is underground, the best part is the darkrooms. I don't know about SVA or FIT. It's pretty expensive, about 800 bucks for a 3 hour weekly class for 10 weeks. There are some other courses over week ends and some others but i'm not really familiar with those. They give lots of tips, i love the photographs they change every month or two in the entrance (not the one above ground). Underground is not as modern as it looks like from outside but is pretty modern, with iMacs to surf of the web or do whatever shit you want to do.

Oh and i just visited the FIT and SVA websites, the admissions process seems to be a lot of a hassle. I'd personally go with ICP knowing it's main focus is photography.
