when they say 19cm jeans. how do they measure this?

does anyone know what size the levis original 501 are?

Measure the ending of the leg.

you mean lie the jean flat on the floor and measure the bottom of the leg (horizontally) and it should be 19cm?

its the size of the hem, the bottom hole you put your foot through..

its fairly obvious mind...

diors come in 21, 19, 17.. but i heard they will only come in 21 + 19 this season.. not sure if thats correct.. either way, in my opinion 17cm is the widest hem a skinny jean can be, anything above than and they arent really a slim cut.. most my jeans are between 14-17.. but 14 is VERY tight.. best is a 16 i reckon..

i think not, it would probably ruin the jean. but maybe someone else knows....

its completely possible...

as long as the seat + waist of the jeans fits the way you want it..

gay pic i know, but those used to be around a 19.. now they are 14...

i brought it to a seamstress tonight - we figured to bring it down from around 20cm to about 18cm just to see how it is. ill find out tomorrow night.
