Looking for Japanese Denim

Lately, I've been reading about this whole craze about Japanese denim, and I've tried some on in Diesel and I totally love them. But before I invest $200+ on some Diesel Japanese jeans, is there some other brands I should look into for Japanese denim? I'm typically a huge fan of Diesel owning a few pairs of jeans from them and I haven't really explored any other brands except Armani Jeans. I forgot the name and style of the jeans, but I liked it a lot, so should I go for the Diesel or should I look at other brands? I'm looking mostly for a loose fit, straight leg.
