FS: Harmon Parka Black one size

Just picked up this black Harmon Parka, one of the most interesting coat-like pieces I have ever seen. Condition is perfect, 10/10 with tag. Would integrate well with any aesthetic that favors dark colors and a "drapey" goth ninja sort of look. Can scrunch the cords for a stiff tall collar, or wear it many other ways loose or open.

Blackbird just got these in stock again, and they are charging $454, I am asking $390 -> $290 (this is really cheap, srsly) shipped and must sell to afford winter hiking coat. This is really cheap for this coat, I really shouldn't go lower :(

DETAILS: A somewhat shocking and dramatic unisex piece which is sure to catch some attention. We had these in stock last season and this color in particular flew out the door. Oversized fit, high collar with tassle details, button front closure, and two side pockets. Made from 100% cotton twill.

Ah, sorry I do not have the fisherman pants! Those are just as rare as the parka and also extremely interesting in their craftsmanship. You definitely won't see anyone else walking around the city looking like you in some Harmon garb.

In a word, no. Completely different textile and design. This one is significantly more abstract, less structured than the RO piece. I suppose the fact that there is the bottom seam split and "tall collar" can seem like rough approximations of eachother, but whereas that is a structured coat this is really more something that a wizard would wear or something. Different fabric feel and thickness, and this is much more unique (as much as I love RO that coat really isn't commensurable with this piece, of course...in my humble opinion that is).

Thanks for asking, I am 6'1" tall and I weigh about 170 lbs or so. I wear a 30 or 31 waist depending on the pants and in tops a medium is usually right. I wear a 38 or 40 in coats.

However, the guy from Blackbird in the pictures from their website helloblackbird.blogspot.com is about the same height as me but thinner, probably a 36 and very thin and it fits him better than I. The coat is made from someone thin, the thinner the better because the flow plays best with that. I would say if you were a 42 and larger or something it would make you look boxy, whereas if you are thin the coat is so drapey that it follows your outline. The shoulders sit low, but if you scrunch the cords or loosen them you change how the sleeves sit on your shoulders and so forth. When they made it one size I think they really made it for a 36-40 thin person, max 170lbs or so.
