APC New Standard v. Hipster v. Cure

I did a search before asking this but I was a little confused...

What are the differences between the three?

I have a pair of New Standards but I am considering exchanging them. Ideally I would like something slimmer in the thigh with a lower rise (although I am quite happy with these as they are). I also don't want them to be extremly tapered as the New Standards are already tapered enough.

Would either the Hipster or Cure be a better choice or should I just stick with the New Standards?

Good question, I want a pait of jeans slimmer in the thigh than the New Standards but with the same taper.

i got the hipsters and one word of caution: they are rock star level low rise so make sure you wear a belt or half your ass will be showing. Other than that you will feel sexy wearing them.

The cure [tight] aren't slimmer through the thigh. so no good.

btw, i think that the hipsters are now called the womans jean.

Bumping this ancient thread because I'm looking for the exact same thing(something similar to the new standard but with a lower rise).
