Nike ID Lab and collecting

So with the Nike ID Lab up and running, does anyone think that this will take away from the whole "limitied" or "collab" work? I mean, now there is no waiting for that special dunk, you can just go online and create it.

With that said, do you think it will take collecting in a different direction? Again, you have the power to just create any shoe you can think of. And then if you take it and sell it, how would the demand (consumer) react? In one case, thats all it is, just one shoe created, but then again, it doesnt really have any special significance to it.

Just want to hear what everyone thinks about it.

Last time I went to the site the color selection wasn't anything to go crazy about. Every color combination possible isn't available on the site and until then I dont think it will affect much.

On the site you can't fully duplicate a shoe andas well I think that the shoes will be significant to someone as long as someone who isn't interested in shoes could ask the same thing about Supreme Highs or Tiffany's and ask "what is their significance?"

i don't know but seeing what some people have created coming outta the 255 special id place.... just shows what terrible bad taste some folks have. shit colored croc skin... and gold accents. so i guess nike id won't be killing any of their usual profits.
