1 pair of blk shoes/boots for winter..?

I need some suggestions. I've been looking around for the past couple weeks for a pair of black shoes to wear for winter. Last winter I just wore 004 blk quilted syndicate chukkas most of the time but obviously their not very flattering at all. So far I can't really find anything I've liked too much.

So help me out here. throw some suggestions my way.

If you could pick 1 pair of black shoes/boots to wear for a winter what would you go with. I wear blk MIJ 19CM's mostly everyday so nothing too bulky.

I was thinking about black visvim reservations. But eh.

Appreciate the suggestions ahead of time.

And please no dress shoes. Yet something Clean. boot or shoe. That can work with almost any fit.

correct. In pittsburgh we get a good amount of snow. any shoe is going to get beat. Plus I'm in between jobs right now and short on cash. I normally don't spend too much on shoes during winter months anyways. usually a couple good pairs. This winter only 1 new pair..still not sure what yet. Need some help.
