That depends on where you're at. Over here, AF1s are much more hip-hop, whereas dunks are not. So people over here seldomly chose between the two.. I'm under the impression that in for example NY, dunks and AF1s are more interchangeable. But correct me if I'm wrong.

Give the guy a break. At least it's not "when should I wash my APCs". Not everybody wears a dunk around their neck. And by "played out" I'm talking about in the streetwear scene (Dunks, Bape, Evisu ect.), but In the genral public, you are right. Most people are much more familiar with AF1s. As for NYC, the streetwear scene is more mainstream, because it is the coolest city in the world. (By the way, I'm kidding, but only kind of, sort of.)

Are you insane?

You can rationally say that you couldn't see how someone with LIMITED TO NO sneaker knowledge might not notice much of any difference between AF1s and Dunks at first? Dude get off it, we're all proud of you sneaker collection, knowledge and denim steez. But not everyone is obsessed with or gives two shits about Nike and you can easily see how MAYBE TO THEM these to shoes look alike.

You know the same way that most New Balance shoes ALL look alike to heads who have little to no love for New Balance. Can you get with things on those terms?

to answer the kids question :

Nike Dunk Low

Back to basics. Now popular with skaters, basketball players, and the fashionable alike, the first ever production of the Nike Dunk shoe was in 1985. Before the Nike Air Jordan I, the Nike Dunk, which later influenced the Jordan I, was the team basketball shoe of choice. It was available in high and low versions in a variety of team colorways to match an uniform, and it came with a matching box and two sets of different color laces. The original Dunk is a highly sought-after collectors item and due to consumer demand, the Nike Dunk line was reissued in 1998 and numerous colorways have been made available on a regular basis since then. Nike released the skate Dunk in 1999 featuring a padded tongue and ankle collar. In 2002, they collaborated withe the Supreme Skate brand to produce the Supreme Dunks, and in 2004, Nike released the new, never-before-seen Nike Dunk Mid. Other special and limited editions include holiday models for Valentine's Day and Christmas, Laser Dunks that feature laser-engraved artwork, Harris Tweed Dunks with famous British tweed fabric, and The Inside Out Dunks. Technologically, the Nike Dunk line of shoes has the most basic of technologies, but its simplicity and wide variety of colors leaves this line of 80’s retro basketball shoes compatible with many styles and make them perfect for casual wear.

Nike Air Force One Low

A shoe that has seen four presidents in office, the Nike Air Force 1 provides great ankle support and a durability that is unmatched by more modern shoes; all in one low-cost, stylish package. Available in low, mid, or high in almost any color to suit your individual style, the Air Force 1 will never go out of style. Worn By: Jerry Stackhouse (F- Detroit Pistons), Rasheed Wallace (F- Portland Trailblazers)

didnt take more than a search on google to find that............. which is what im sayin why the fuck make a thread on it??? Look at the shoes!
