I was at the rec today and I saw this asian dude wear this pair of nike lowtop chuck taylor esque shoes. I think they would look amazing with slim jeans, and I wanna know where I can get a pair or if anyone knows what they are called.

Yep that is likely, judging by the thumb flaps on the back, shoe shape and what looks like some kind of proto type mesh on the back.

They were probably samples.
