i don't get the chest range. how many inches across is the chest?

There's two different pieces. And in all honesty, I have no idea how to measure in order to the get an "accurate" chest measurement. So depending on how it's laid flat (and or buttoned) it's somewhere in between the measurements I posted.

If there's a specific way you would like me to measure let me know how you want it done and I will do my best.
