Navigation - What's good?

I want to buy a navigation device but they all look the same. I need maps for all of western europe, but they all seem to have that.

What's the best in terms of easy to understand navigation and good user interface? Don't care for a builtin mp3 player or any of that crap, just want to know where to drive.

What are the differences between TomTom, Garmin, and Navigon?

Theres a simple way to choose, pick the one with the least annoying voice, youre going to be hearing it pretty damn often, so if it annoys you to begin with youre likely going to end up throwing the thing under a passing truck after only a week.

Garmin has the best map set available for any GPS unit... it is extremely reliable and usually the voice isnt that bad either.

GARMIN NUVI 200.

Will run you about 150 Euro.

I've had mine for over a year and have used it all over Europe, Canada, Mexico and the US. Never have had a single issue with it. They're pretty amazing. Plus, you can search for a Mexican restaurant or the closest ATM whether you're in Prague or Plano.

my dad has a Garmin (can't remember the exact model) but when we were in nyc a few weeks ago we had a hard time picking up reception and we ended up picking up a NFT guide i don't know if anyone else had that problem though.
