Ever had the chance to check out any dope NN stuff?

Not so much a fan of this season's NN...some cool tees but overpriced, as I remember from the store they started at around $180...there's a cool t-shirt with a tie dye print of a skull across the whole front of the shirt, it's outrageously priced at $280 but it's cheaper in HK and if it's still around by sales I might pick one up. They have nice basic blazers that are slim and much cheaper than Dior's...they also have some other experimental tailored stuff such as blazers made with traditional fabric mixed with patches of 'vintage' checkered fleece type stuff but those are very expensive. The knitwear was mediocre, $495 plain shetland wool cardigans with some tiny 'high streets' logo on a front pocket...some decent canvas jeans but for the $450-ish price tag might as well pick up 2 pairs of Acne's. The green, blue velour jeans were ugh.

Hey any of you guys have clothes by Raf? How does the stuff compare to DH, NN and Cloak?

I'm a huge fan of Raf Simons and would love to own some of his stuff, he's one of my fav. designers that i have yet to own anything from. The knitwear looks nice, but i'm not so sure if the styling of this season could be worn that easily, for me at least...i also like the high waisted, baggy pleated trousers...looks great when paired with the wool knits, but again a very hard look to pull off. I might just end up getting a hoodie or something, which have some dope prints but it feels like if i do that i'm not really getting into the true essence of Raf, which lies in the crazy jackets and capes and what not.

Unfortunately I live in Sydney where there's no Raf/DH/NN or cloak action, so that's why I'm so curious about these brands. From what I've seen on net, Raf's jackets are slick and sweet. I really like the fact that he goes for those tech fabrics too. As for DH and NN, the current and coming seasons don't really appeal to me as much as their previous ones, it's a shame. However there's always one or two pieces I'm interested in at any given collection.

Those high waisted baggy trousers from Raf look awesome, but they cost so much. It's definitely hard to pull off and it's hard to match with shoes.

Oh also about those NN tees, is the quality of it better than the DH ones. I've been hearing bad things about DH tees this season.

Well...it depends...quality is relative to price. The DH tees are crap quality, period (flimsy cotton, cheap prints) but they also cost a helluva lot less than NN tees. NN tees are basic cotton tees with some neat distressing details, the tie dye skull print tee is pretty soft but doesn't justify $300 price. The fender monogram tees which I think are even more than $300 is purposely done in a really cheap, rough feeling cotton. If you're lookin for those kinds of tees I think Undercover has the best quality, the cotton is actually a nice material and they're only a bit more than DH tees, I think the prints on the UC tees are more interesting as well. Just my two cents.
