I'm sorry if this was answered before in this thread, and if it was, please just tell me. But does Dior make jeans that would fit someone with a 29 waist, like me, for a year? I know that I'm supposed to size down 3-4 in MII, which what I plan to buy, but I can't find any size 25 or 26 anywhere. Thanks.

I'd probably get 27's man. My waist is 29 as well and I wear 28 MIJs. I'd just go for 27s in MIIs. Imo waist size is not really an accurate indication anyway. What do your hips measure, because that's where the jeans will sit. My waist is 29, but my hips are 31.

Yes get 27s. I wear 26s and I have a 28 waist. You should be set w/ 27s.

Ok in response to what I posted earlier about fit.

I seriously wish there was like a 29.5. These are fully FULLY stretched out. I know that sizing up one on dior homo is a lot bigger difference in size than with other brands. Also, a 31 was massive, way to big on me. These are 29. I have the blacks and I want to say they fit slightly better. These are sagged pretty low much lower and it would be below the hips and falling off.

Thoughts?

Yeah a half size up would probably be better.

If you can I'd still sag a little more, I know you said they'd be falling off but thats what's supposed to happen. Or maybe sag the front to be even with the back or something, it just looks a little weird in the pics.

That is true. Pics, especially self pics, are never really good indications.

And honestly they're not terrible by any means. Better than a lot of fits we get in here.

Some progress pics, I've had my size 28 black 19cm raws for a little over 2 months now. I think I could have sized down to a 27, these are really loose round the waist, they're difficult to keep up. Having said that though, I'm pretty happy with the fit everywhere else

So do you think an mii washed size 30 would be perfect then? My theory is that the 30 unstretched mij would be ideal, but of course it will stretch.

Got my 19MIJ hemmed. Quality of the hemming is awful - but at least I haven't got excessive crazy stacks anymore.

Just tried on the 19cm raw mii at the barneys in downtown seattle. Fit is good but it will stretch out... looks like I should either try and wet stretch the mij 29s I have or look for a washed 30.

Hm yeah. The thing is the more you size down, the more they stretch, so it might work. They're gonna stretch to your size and not much more than that, it's not like they have some final size that they automatically reach. But idk you tried them on so you're the best judge

I've had my black raws for ~7/8 months now, and it's developing a green-ish tint more or less. Is that commonplace (with black and indigo raws), and will a soak take care of that? It's just a subtle thing but it peaks my curiosity.

There was also a photo awhile back of the subtle tonal differences of the indigo dye between the '06 and on. I'm just rambling. Sorry.

I think the tint is pretty normal. 7/8 months is a lot of dirt if you think about it.

If I remember that pic of the tonal difference was between silver selvage and regular raws. But I could be wrong.
