Phuket to chill

Hey, Will be in Hong Kong for a week for work in Mid November. From there I'm thinking to spend a week relaxing on a beach somewhere in Phuket. Ideally I'm looking for a beach thats quiet but still has some nightlife nearby. Any recommendations, places to stay in, or avoid? cheers!
