If you check out the maintenece page on the official site http://www.gore-tex.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ContentGView?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&productId=10003 it'll give you the instructions. Basically, you have to make sure the fabric is clean on the surface, then buy a recommended waterproof spray to maintain its waterproofness. I think the site recommends you do this every 3 months with regualar wear.
