I reallly want a pair of dry denim that I can wear like a madman for the next couple months, it will be my first pair. As a reference I wear a 26 zathan, 28 skinner, 26-27 womens/other jeans. Now Im thinking about getting the SSK Dry (stretch - 3% lycra). Questions:

Will a 26x32 be too tight?

Will It make me look like a Ramone brother?

Will these wear-in and age like other nudies? (Especially since it's 3% lycra)

I don't want these things to grab my ass and taper my ankles. Unfortunately they are the only small waisted nudies I can find. Maybe I'll try to get some dry earnest sewn in 29 as they fit me, I think..

sorry man but it seems kinda odd for you to say you want some Nudie Slim kims if you DONT want a tight ass or tapering... thats what these jeans fit like. Try some APCs, ACNE, ummm i dont know.. but the kims fit small anyways for a normal 28 mens id say go for a 29-30 in the kims.

you'd size up? I suppose the only reason I want the ssk is because of the smaller waist size. I 26 bootcut ola would be amazing if they existed or I could find them. Where can I get some acnes? From what Ive seen of apc Im not a fan

PS

re- wearing in like other dry denims. You are correct in thinking the lycra will hamper this process.

Main thing is lycra denim will never be as rigid so will not crease as much, consequently not as nice contrasting whiskers...

Could still be good though with a bit of effort.

I hope indigo doesn't cause cancer...

... could you hand me the dental floss

No they fit big, I'd wear either your size or size up. I generally wear a 30-31 and the 30 fits perfect. They're very skinny compared to most jeans including Acne, but the Finns if sized one up fit even skinnier. I have both the kim in a blue sz 30 and the Finn sz 29 in a black. Both are really the only jeans I ever wear for the most part. My only question for you is, like the man asked earlier, why bother asking if the style's too much or too out there for you in the first place? The jean is very skinny and truthfully only certain people can pull it off. Being skinny helps, but looking like rock trash or a Dior Homme model works even better icon_smile_cool.gif

And like what was said above ^^^ if you're not looking for super tight Acne does very slim, as does Cheap monday, Corpus, APC, Levis, Tsubi, Julian Red, Dior, H&M and even the Nudie slim jims.

That's a horrible fucking story dude. As for the size issue, I don't know about that. I'm a slim dude and the 30 is even a little big as they stretch quite a bit and fairly quickly. The only time I've seen the jeans fit like spandex is if you're a guy with big legs, in which case skinny jeans are prolly not your stee.

As for the lycra issue, it really is such a miniscule amount that the difference is beyond negligible in terms of breaking them in. Mine are wearing just fine, very nice honeycombs and creasing all over. I've seen a friends 9 month old pair that was all beat to shit that looked awesome.

have you tried an apc new standard, i wear a 27 in those (28 in skinners) and that is a nice straight lg that doesnt make your ass look funny, its 140 if im not mistaken

and where did you find a size 26 zathan

the best fitting zathan ive ever found was a mislabeled size 32 that was actually like a 29

chwa?

easy tiger dont shit your pants...whats your definition of "big legs" my friend was fairly tall 6'2 and wasnt a stick so he had to size up. if someone were regular sized they would definatley have to size up on the kims.

Take your own advice there bro. My post wasn't meant as a flame. Dry denim and no underwear IMO is a not a good idea is all I was saying. As for the size issue, there's a reason why the jeans run from size 25-32 they're really only meant for skinny dudes. As for being stick thin, I'm not, but I'm slimmer than most.

Sorry, didn't indicate that what I was saying was meant more tongue in cheek than anything else. Regardless, this post is getting to be funny as hell.
