wat is the fit like on these? anyone own a pair, most importantly what is the hem width

If I remember correctly, around 45cm/18".

The fit is 'regular' - not too baggy, not too slim, straight leg.

Hi Ringring,

Just wondering how did you get so much knowledge about denim? I think I read in another post that you were in the industry. I know a few people in the denim industry also but they can not test when it comes to your knowlege on brands, fits and etc.

also what is the waist like, im 32 waist. all my jeans i buy tend to stretch though even if they are loose to start with. are they true to size? i like my jeans slightly big, only slightly though

Vinz - Thanks. I'm just a denim aficionado. My knowledge is pretty shallow compared to some people I know. There's a lot of denim knowledge on here. I like your sites BTW. You're very talented.

Bron82 - I'm pretty sure Silas run true to size, so base your judgement on that. They are cut like classic jeans (about 12" front rise, 14" back rise, if memory serves). My memory is a little vague sometimes.

I have juz tried on one pair the other day, that one is 32 waist but my waist is juz 29...initially, it's supposed the pair of jeans I hv been lookin' 4, coz i used to wear slightly baggy...but the leg part of silas classic jeans is too big.....I think Saturday one might be doper..

i got a pair.. the fit is truely 'regular' straight leg.. not baggy, not slim.. like a 501 i guess..

you can normally pick them up pretty cheap for some reason!
