Go the tip off and headed down there today, whole lotta clothes (mens and womens) to be had dirt cheap.

I picked up a £750 woollen coat for £95. Definitly worth a look if you like Miyake.

Entry is free, its totally above board.

I work on a fashion mag in London so we get tipped off about these things.

Apparently they're re-stocking it every day until it all runs out.

Just wondering about the size selection as I am an XL in most clothes and as I work in Canary Wharf, its quite a trek to try and cop out during lunch. So if I do go, it would be nice to know that sizes would not be an issue.

And as I will probably be able to only go for about 1/2 hour tomorrow (if I can't make it today) what are Issey Miyake cuts like (i.e. are they meant for the slinky sorts?) or can the larger build individuals find something as well? I find most Japanese designs are tend to be smaller cut.

Miyake has a weird sizing system (well maybe its standard in Japan, I don't know) where all the men's clothes are a size 2, 3 or 4.

I'm about 6'1" and average build (by nooo means a model size or a skinny bugger) and the size 3 stuff fits me nicely - not skinny fit but nice with a bit of room.

I appreciate its a big ole trek for you...there's no way I can guarantee there'll be anything that works for you, and some of Miyake's stuff is plain crazy.

But there were nice plain or simple-patterned shirts, knitwear and suits and jackets in most sizes when I was there. Alongside the inflatable shorts and day-glo mesh shirts, of course. Oh, and a whole big box of knitted scarves/woollen hats/ties and belts for like £30-£50.
