i've tried looking at other pictures, and in each one the 4001bk's seem more blue than black. are they actually black and fade to a nice grey?

do these fade slower than indigo because if they do iam really interested i want it to stay with the black color as long as it can

Black is usually more stubborn to fade. These jeans are really special, they fade just like indigo but I'm sure they'll still retain their color longer.
