do allen edmonds run true to size? what about aldens?

if i wear a 10.5 in vans would it be the same size for the above brands?

It really depends on the model. I think you should go to a store and try some AE and buy them later. Don't worry, tons of them pop up on ebay all the time.

Your size in AE is closer to "true size" than the Vans. Vans (and most skate and basketball sneakers) typically fit tight because of the padding.

+1, AE are true to size and so are most non-designers dress shoes but Vans and other sneakers usually aren't. Get your foot measured properly; you'll know your size and width.
