Japanese brand denims versus European and/or American?

Are they really far superior in terms of quality, fit, fabric, comfort, design, exclusivity?

Denime, Warehouse, Sugarcane, Studio D'Rtisan, PRPS, Full Count, Uniqlo

Versus

APC, Nudie, Julian Red, Costume National, Dior Homme, Neil Barrett

Rogan, Notify, Earnest Sewn, Loomstate, Carpei Denim

I'm sure this is quite subjective and there will be pros and cons for each. But any thoughts, just shoot away!

There's really no such strict demarcation any more..

Some European jeans are made in Europe but with Japanese denim (e.g. Atelier, some models of Nudie, some Diesel, etc).

Some Japanese jeans are made in Japan with American denim (some models of Samurai, some Sugarcanes). Some Sugarcanes are even made in the US with American denim, then reimported to Japan where they command a premium because they are 'made in USA'. Similarly, Michiko Koshino (Yen Jeans) has an Italian-made line which is sold back in Japan as a 'Euro' line.

To confuse things further, most Evisu jeans you see nowdays are made in Italy; most Nudies (Swedish design) are made in Italy too.
