Levi's 501s Limited Edition

I bought these jeans for $100 CDN, they are dark washed and have yellow selvage, I have never heard off them before, anyone knows what makes them premium? I just like the wash so i bought them, also will they shrink at all if I was and dry them?

hmm im curious myself, i was just at the levi's store this past weekend and i saw the "premium" ones for $65 USD - they were not selvage though.

highly doubt they were selvedge.

I got them at Caban in Toronto. I'm pretty sure they were slevage, I will post some pics today

I'm not to sure about selvage, maybe they are. I don't know shit about it and frankly I dont care.

Alvin's jeans have a buckleback, which would make them prewar. they also have no suspender buttons, which would make them late 30's. but i don't believe a buckleback ever rested entirely on the back yolk like it does in this pics. this is likely a fake. where did you get them from?

the other non-selvage 501s from caban are the 'coveted' 501 - a Levi Pemium finish released for this fall.
