How do you care for your clothes?

I know this is likely a stupid question for some, but I have to ask because more than ever I've been purchasing more clothes - Wings + Horns, Samurai, Corpus, AA, Nudies, etc. I feel like if I spend this money I should treat my clothes with care and not leave them tossed around.

My question basically is how do you organize your clothes? Do you hang them, fold them in and place them in shelves? Have a rack? I just often find myself wondering if I'm damaging some of my shirts and sweaters by using hangers, or leaving them out unfolded.

Thanks for any tips guys.

I hang button up shirts, fold/roll t-shirts (unless they have a big print you're scared of creating a crack in), and fold heavier sweaters so the neck doesn't stretch out. I just toss my jeans on the floor when I go to sleep, then pick them up the next day to wear. No one really sees what your room is like at night, and if they do, they shouldn't really care cause their clothes should be sprawled around the room too.

Fold all my Tee's, separate them into blanks and undershirts, and then regular shirts separate.

Jackets and Hoodies I put on Hangars. Jeans I just fold, same way fold method they use when they are displayed in stores. Socks I fold into then put them into column stacks in the drawer.

I hang pretty much all my stuff. Tshirts, jackets, shirts, jeans, shorts. I have a cheapy walmart 3 drawer thing to hold boxers, socks, tshirts for sports and basketball shorts. The only thing i don't hang really is my sweaters and i only have like 2 of them so it's not a big deal.

Cold wash/woolite/extra gentle cycle for most. Light colors separate from darks.

Button ups, jackets hung on thick hangers.

Jeans folded or hanging on hooks, pants through a hanger in an upside down u shape.

Sweaters always folded.

Never dryer.

I hang everything up but like t-shirts, and underwear too, but that's obvious. I don't have any heavy sweaters, so I just them too. Lots of times though, I'll sprawl stuff I'm gonna use again soon out on my bed for the time being, just cuz it saves time and it's more convenient. I have a dresser for all the folded stuff and pajamas and shit like that. My rule of thumb about tossing stuff around is simply: If it's casual and not meant to look sharp or dressy or anything like that, then go ahead and leave it tossed around. I do that with jeans/khakis/other pants/more casual collared shirts and other stuff of the type.

i hang most stuff. i fold knitwear and older tshirts that dont get worn outside of the house. i hang most denim on hooks on the back of my waredrobe door or keep it on the floor - fold whatever isn't in immediate rotation.underwear in one draw, accesories in another.

there have been so many threads like this.

just noticed the clothes you mentioned - i would be more inclined to throw that stuff on the floor, it isnt exactly delicate fabrics or yarns.
