Ann Demeulemeester store in antwerp

I'm going to Antwerp for a few days.. actually the trip is solely based on a visit to the Ann Demeulemeester store.

I heard a rumor that many stores in Antwerp are closed the week between Christmas and the New Year.

Does anyone know if the Ann store is open on the 26th?

I figured I'd ask before calling.

not true at all, they probably sell more that week then any other time... it'll be open!

my mother's friend from the UK said that.. something about shops closing down.. it sounds strange for a globalized and western city like antwerp to do that, but i didn't want to get there and have to deal. didn't really believe the lady either.

i would just call, why leave anything to chance if that's the main purpose of your trip?

i think you will be surprised at how provincial antwerp is in many ways (and i don't mean that in a negative sense)
