The most surreal place I have been is atop mt spokane at 3 am. alone. Standing next to a florescent light bulb which was the only light source for a least a mile.

right next to a radio tower that I swear my hand to god, had something to do with echelon or someshit.

my best buddy through school from like 4yrs to 18yr old was from iceland. his middle name was thor.

he said his cousins used to work on fishing boats sometimes, got majour wedge, they work a wierd 16hr day cycle, 8hour work, 8hour sleep, 8 hour work and so on.. as it stays light/dark majority of time its easy to trick your senses into changing you up and down times. v.good pay and no expenses obviously for the time your at sea, they used to come back and just buy a car cash and shit.

its pretty expensive.

I highly recommend renting a car and driving around the ring road. Lots of sheep. More waterfalls per mile than cars per hour. Fjords are stunning. Prepare for extremely chaotic weather. Unpaved roads are scary. Mountain roads are even scarier. Expensive as fuckkkkk.
