loved the first few episodes, couldnt stand the middle, but it ended strong with the last couple.

at times i think it's "too smart" for its own good.

it reminds me of a mix between the sopranos (obviously) and the wire. maybe it's because i can recognize so many of the backdrops in providence, but i like it so far, only seen a few episodes
