i've been looking for a nice leather jacket some time now, but couldn't find anything decent. are there "not too expensive" leatherjackets with a good quality or is my search doomed to failure?

you're doomed to go vintage. Leather jackets get exponentially better as they go up in price. It's just the way the world works

I own a topman leather jacket that was £60 and is pretty nice. There are better quality, more expensive ones from topman too, but I prefered the style of the I bought.

The Superdry leatherjacket seems to be pretty cool. This one by All Saints is nice too.

Are they worth the price?

I've never heard of Asos before. They have a lot of nice nice things made by their own brand. Shirts for example.

You're gonna have a difficult time finding a DH-esque slim-fit, high arm hole leather jacket I'm afraid. Believe me, I've been there.

Most sensible solution I'd say would be to keep an eye on the Supermarket for an April77 Vegan Leather (resin coated cotton that looks like leather) jacket.

yea its almost impossible to find a dior fit and look without spending a ton. diesel has a really cool one out right now actually. suprisingly. its 550, ill probably end up getting that but its not ideal. cant find a pic

You can try the japanese proxies. you pay the addtional fees but you'll get your skinny leather jacket. In general you will want to size up(learned my lesson on my first proxy order). Hare makes a couple of nice leather jackets, they sell for a bout 350.

seems to be the way. I must have spent days trawling through scores of vintage shops, after this sort of thing:

lloyd- youll never find a good fit in a vintage store.. H&M had some cool ones but even their smallest sizes were too big. i did some searching to find a 34 (US) but they only made down to a 36 apparently...

the one in that picture is lithium homme- found it on some random japanese site for like 115000 yen.. which is somewhere over $1000. i would definitly settle with that one but i dont want to deal with a proxy and all that shit

if you look hard enough of ebay, i think their is a very nice oil coated riders/leather-look alike jacket from tsubi. it runs like 3bills or so.

Yeah, I too think vintage is the way to go for you. I was also lookin for something of the sort, but dont have the coin to get what I really want. Found this for like $75 at a thrift store, and its made in Italy Ferre, pretty cool.

Mentioned before, as well, but rakuten has some decent & unique ones as well, although with the fees and what not + considering a lot of them aren't exactly super cheap in the first place, you're better off getting it through the above three options.
