storing ur clothes and kickz

I was wondering how do you guys keep your clothes?

Like for jeans do you fold them up, or hang them?

Same thing for shirts?

What is the best way to keep you clothes in good shape?

I don't hang regular t-shirts and polo's because the collar starts to stretch.

jeans / cords: fold

khakis / chinos: hang by hem

button ups: hang w/at least top 2 buttons buttoned-up

polos: fold (to prevent hangar marks on shoulders...if you want to hang them you can keep collars from getting stretched or whatever by just keeping them buttoned up to the top)

tees - fold

polos and button ups - hang with buttons buttoned all the way up just as rhythmandsound stated.

shoes - all in their boxes containing 2-3 silica packs on the top shelf of my closet.

Shoes: all on a rack i made from a picece of board and a piano stand. most dope

Tees/everything thats not fancy: just kinda throw onto a self

i keep the boxes for most of my shoes as well...haven't tried silica packs but those are a good idea. I use DampRid closet hanger bags to get rid of any humidity in the closet...works really well.

oh yeah and t-shirts: always folded in thirds, never down the middle!

I hang my jeans on hooks by the beltloop because I don't like to fold them & screw up the creases & contrasts by folding them. They stay right in the same shape...

Keep all my shoes (maybe 80 pair) in the original boxes or plastic containers (Bed, Bath & Beyond / Hold Everything) with polariods on the outside...

Hang mine on a hook as well. Paranoid to fold them. Just one or two pair that I'm really trippin' on though.
