what soup should i have for lunch?

Strange coincidence, but I was just in the process of making the exact same decision between the exact same soups when I clicked on this thread.

My buddy Josh makes some mean lentil soup, so I think that what I'm gonna go for.

its rich and creamy in texture , natural subtle sweetness.i just dip my sandwhich in it. good combination.. i think i can make this soup, i need to blend the squash and add the liquids..is there cream involved or just chicken stock?

Depends what kind of soup you're going for. If you're going for savory, you'd use stock of some variety (I personally think a well made veggie stock with good mushrooms is the trick, but chicken works fine) plus some cream to mellow it out a bit. If you're making it sweet, no real need for the cream, but you could.

Honestly, all you really need is an immersion blender, some stock and spices. My "trick" is to cook the squash with butter, brown sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon and finishing it with the other spices later. If you're going next level, cut up some granny smith apples and toss them in before you burr it.
