Sharkah Chakra Denim - Organic Selvedge Denim

Hey everyone, I was bored and surfing around the intertubes and found out about this: http://www.sharkahchakra.com/

A quick glance through their pages shows that the denim is incredibly unique. Anyone else here heard of this or have any thoughts? I'm more curious than anything

Hey Joelz if you work for them, just come right out and say it man.

I had a look. Denim looks nice enough but raw is always way nicer than distressed or washes. I'm guessing the last one is a one wash which is fair enough. Concept is all good and nice, couple of points don't sound right here.... I'd say the Italians are not the masters of denim. That'd be the Japanese. They talk about it being the first time natural indigo and hand made jeans have been done. Not really true as several Japanese brands have a natural indigo model.

The price is about the same as a natural indigo pair of Japanese denim. No measurements for the fit? Not too keen on gold rivets or the back pocket design.

Also, about their straight fit "Based on vintage Japanese design this straight cut is designed to be a clean line silhouette." Japanese designs aren't vintage, they're recent, though they ARE based on vintage American designs. Or is Shakrah Hippy designing based around some hitherto unknown vintage japanese denim company?
