I've been a stylist in LA for 13 years...and isn't just great that the powers that be in Japan think nothing of that and expect me to start from the beginning day one hair school.....well....after I can pass the language entrance test that is. Nice. I wonder how easy/difficult it would be to find a salon that would let me work anyway. Australia by the way has a very nice "skills assessment board" that reviews my education and career history and has granted me a license. Cool. But my wife lives in Japan. Bummer.
