Who else is with me that this should probably be considered the greatest "concept" album of all time? Does anything hold a candle?

I am with you. I talk about that album all the time. I some times sing "A pretty girl in her underwear" to my girlfriend (poorly, I can barely play the bass!) AND my best friend was in town visiting on Monday and that album set came up out of the blue; he was raving about it. So, that's two of us that are with you...two very smart f-ckin' people I might add.

Carl I'm glad you brought this thread up, but c'mon you know better than to tout anything as being the greatest. There's always something better out there.

It's great you brought this up though, I've been geeking out on concept albums for a while and I gotta say 69 love songs is up there.

But for the more traditional concept album, there's too many awesome ones to call. I mean I personally can't pick a favorite from the Kinks', to Dead Kennedys' to the FUCKIN' WALL... hell even the Killroy Album from Styx was mind blowing when I first heard it 10 years ago.
