apparently renee was trying to get across that even in today's modern world (the guy in the hat and suit) man is still tempted - hence, the apple, like the apple that adam and eve were tempted by in the bible. i am pretty sure that is right, but i mean one could go on for alot longer about it.

i really love his ideas for complete photographic works and sequencing of photos

oh yea and i can't forget alec soth. i could never imagine working in this way but his take on documentary is so unique.
