Naka-Meguro. (any hotels?)

Hello All,

My wife and I are going to the Philippines (for family stuff) then Japan(for vacation) next week....

I am searching online for a cool place to stay in tokyo that isn't too expensive. I know that is the holy grail as far as a trip to tokyo goes. I am curious to know if there are any good places to stay in Naka-Meguro? i can't find much online but it seems like a cool mellow neighborhood. any input would be helpful.

I stayed at Tokyu Stay nakemeguro yutenji. it's located in yutenji, which is like 1 minute away from naka-meguro. Inexpensive and super awesome. I'd say if you walk on komazawa-dori, naka-meguro is within 10 mins. But you should just take the train b/c it's literally one minute away.

you ever try ohsaki?between ebisu and shinagawa. pretty mellow business area. i stayed at this cozy little inn called Fiftys Family Inn. Pretty cheap.

the madeleine coffee/latte/capuccino van next to the river by APC surplus and mountain research is hella good

waingman wassa, which is one of my favorite stores right now.
