The measurements for BiG say that 34" tag translates to 35.5". What would these shrink to a cold soak?

FYI - its not that you've gained weight, these things run unbelievably tight in the thighs compared to other samurais. I couldn't even put on the size 40 in BiG and instead got an S5000VX in size 38 which I can now pull off without unbuttoning...
