EDIT: Sorry! i had no idea this was posted yesterday. i got this off iss.

So basically i got this from another forum and decided to share it here. Its very useful. The nudie website is so much smoother with this. Theres an official one by firefox but its not really necessary. This takes about 2 minutes max.

http://fasterfox.mozdev.org/

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit enter. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

More options:

For ADSL:

1. Type: about:config

2. Set:

network.http.max-connections : 64

network.http.max-connections-per-server : 21

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server : 8

network.http.pipelining : true

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests : 100

network.http.proxy.pipelining : true

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.
