Anyone hear like Res or Teedra Moses?

Probably neither are quite neo-soul - I thought Res' album in particular (How I Do) was quite good, showed a lot of promise... anyone know what she's up to now? I thought I read something about her singing backup with Gnarles Barkley...

Bumping this thread. It's been a while.

Mizanation put me on to a dude called Van Hunt. I really dig his second album especially. Hard to categorise, but there is definitely an element of soul to his music.

What else have peeps been bumping?

haven't listened, but have you heard Van Hunt's first album? aside from the slower ballads maybe, that schitt was top-notch!

yeah I really like the opener in Van Hunt - 'Dust'. But aside from that, there were only a couple of tracks I dug.

Really like that Spacek album too.

Actually, I think I heard a new track of his on the radio last week, but didn't catch the name or if it was by him or one of his side-projects. Kinda slow groove loop, with strings and brass. Really dope. Anyone know what it's called? Cheers.
