What kind of paint did you use? acrylic?

yeah i would like to know what kind of paint, because in prior experience, some paints craaacck like mad

Yeah I've been using acrylic paints for the most part. Actually the last two a friend made for me, and I was inspired to make some for myself recently... so I designed the "Bolt" one a couple days ago.

I still have brand new metallic blue lace up vans to paint... and I have no idea what to do with them... I'll post a picture and maybe you guys can give some input.

The last two shoes are over 2 years old (painted)... so you can see that it's pretty resilient considering.

i made these once...not a big nike fan but i wanted to see if i could do it

What exactly did you do? paint them brown?

burn the edge with a soldering iron.

yea, it's a fake snakeskin pattern, the picture is kind of weird but i used a bunch of different paints including metallic stuff to make it look funky. they came out ok i guess, nothing i would ever wear though
