quick chucks/jackpurcell question

i haven't had a pair since i was a kid and have read things about sizing that i never paid attention to because i was never planning on getting any til now.

is it that you should one size up or down or did i just misread and these fit true to size?

i wear US13 in almost everything.

For chucks you should normally size at least a half size down from your normal shoe size.

Purcells, I think, fit true to size.

I don't own any of the older converses. I only have the new series with the super thick insoles.

For shoe nerdz

I wear:

10.5 in regular dunkz

11 in dunk SBz

10 in chucks

10.5 in purcells

vans = i dont know it's all over the place

11 visvim FBTs

the only common shoe i have similar to chucks that several other people have here are some sperry canvas shoes that fit me comfortably in a size 13. should i still size down?

i'm just obsessing over what size i should get without trying any on. most nikes feel a little snug on me in size 13 for example, but then i've got a pair of cole haan's in 13 that i could've went a half size down on. just want to get an idea if i'll be okay in 13's even though it's recommend to size down.

i find that chucks fit true to size (9.5 for me) and purcells .5 larger (10)

vans slips/prison/sk8-hi 9.5

clarks wallabees/treks 9.5
