A suggestion for tagging items in the supermarket

especially for jeans and tops, why not(as a rule) put a tag stating the actualy size, as in "32x32" or "XL" or "40R"? it would make browsing by tags much simpler and quicker than say looking at "samurai" and having to wade through a million pairs of pants that do not fit?

Just a thought....

no thats not what i mean, im saying its just common sense to ALWAYS put the size as a tag, and always make the format "32x32". am i being stupid right now?

hmm I'm not sure if I'm getting it.. cause as it is, the tag pool is ridicilously big, so I dont see it as particularly useful in supermarket.

for example, if you're looking for samurais in size 32, why not search for "samurai 32"? if you click on a tag like "32x32", it will show every single thread tagged with it, not just samurais. and then theres always people who haven't used tags in their threads, so those will not show. if you use regular search, I'm guessing it might be more likely to show up?

I think this is a good idea. People should tag a thread selling a pair of 32x32 sammis as "samurai" and "32x32." That way we can just look at stuff that's in our size. I also think that sizes should have to be listed in the thread title.

thats exactly what i mean, id much rather browse by size than anything. i dont give a shit about a size medium t-shirt or a pair of 28 waist jeans, so if every person included size as a tag it would make shit much easier to navigate....just point and click on a size you see that is being currently offered.

tags in supermarket arent that helpful just cause if you specify a tag as samurai 32, then the pool will be even larger than its current state. tagging sizes would only save a few seconds of browsing i imagine.

no dude, listen. if i tag a pair of jeans as 34X34, then you tag a pair you are offering as 34X34, they wont show up as separate tages, itsll be under the same. when someone clicks the ONE TAG thats says 34X34, they will see my pants for sale, and your pants for sale? can you dig it?
