usa vs. abroad?

is it just me or are the international renowned shops much friendlier than the usa ones?

a store like grand or hideout is quite friendly and they ship internationally. then you take a store like huf, supreme, or undfefeated and they don't even respond to emails.

maybe i;m getting it wrong, but any store with a website shold be somewhat helpful i guesss

I think it comes down to popularity ... Supreme et al are far better known and would get hassled far more.

Still, I have found with any of those stores, if you wander in say 'hi' and have a sweet attitude you will be treated well in return.

I've always had good service from Supreme (and Hideout ...), but maybe that's just me.

I agree, that the US stores probably think that they do not need you as a customer. Check out grandism.com It`s a swiss store carrying futura laboratories, zoltar, acronym, etc. and they sell to international customers tax free and have very low shipping costs.

Totally - you wanna come and buy milk and bread from my corner shop in London where they hiss, throw the change at you and look at you like you are a piece of shit. Supreme staff look like they have been to finishing school after that.

Eh. I've only bought one pair of sneakers from Huf before and they were nothing but nice. I lost the tracking number, so I had to call and they were very pleasent.

there's gotta be at least one thread a week where people complain about the service they're getting at these stores...and each time i say the same bloody thing...GET OVER IT!!...if you don't like the service, don't shop there...if you still want the goods, you kids have been so spoiled with the internet that finding an online resource that'll sort you out takes no time at all...do some legwork dammit!!

i'm soooo sick of all the whining and complaining...these companies and stores have the right to sell to whomever they choose...look, it's not like shopping at the gap...the gap is out to get paid, straight up...they don't care who the customer is...most of these establishments you all are getting heated over can smell a fraud before their doors are pushed open...

if you decide to spend your hard earned dollars there, go in, pick up what you want, take it to the counter, drop your cash, and break...stop spending your time and energy getting heated over the service...life is too short...spend your time worrying about the people and things around you that are TRULY important....
