Levi's single stitch question....

I'm in the middle of the apparently deep descent of the vintage jean collector/seller (just found this board. Really glad I'm not the only one with these issues - nice to meet you. Freaks).

I've run across a few pairs of not-so-old Levi's that have neither chain-stitched or single stitched back pockets; what's the deal with these:

Here's the inner tag's numbers - I've gleaned some new info from these threads about a dating system but I can't see a month/year combo in this mess:
