this was a cool movie btw

i enjoyed a lot of corbijin's choices, stylistically,

but it left something to be desired. the story of ian curtis

& joy division may be too hard to really sum up

in roughly two hours of film. It's an epic that transcends simple characters and plot devices -- it stretches into their music, legacy, & something really intangible...

granted, i love joy division.

so nothing really does them justice except their own work.

( i wish godard would've directed this. )
