Does anyone know how to achieve a Mineral Wash or Pigment wash effect on a home based production? I tried putting stone wash balls in a washer with 50 tshirts in, nothing visable happend. does anyone has an idea of how to achieve such look for the quantity of 50 or more tees? is there a chemical out there for mineral wash look?

I hope someone with more knowledge than I can respond to this thread. Did you use a top loading washer or a side loading (industrial laundromat style) washer? That may have something to do with it, because I've only ever seen the side loader being used at the denim laundry. Also, usually unless you're trying to get a softer hand from using an enzyme solution, you'll need to get some abrasion on the fabric before washing so that the effect of the pumice balls will be dramatic enough to show.
